You registered for a race on JustRace but didn’t receive a confirmation email? Chances are that the email from JustRace has landed in Spam or a hard-to-see location in your mailbox.
To fix this situation, simply create a filter to ensure that emails from JustRace will always appear in your primary folder. This article will show you how to create filters for Gmail and Yahoo Mail.
For Gmail users
If you are using Gmail, follow these steps:
In the search box, click the filter icon on the right.
Enter “email@example.com” in “From“. At the bottom of the search window, click “Create filter“.
Tick the box “Never send it to Spam” and “Categorize as:“. Then click the down arrow next to “Choose category…” and choose “Primary“. Finally, click “Create filter“.
Re-apply steps 1-3 for email firstname.lastname@example.org
For Yahoo Mail users
If you are using Yahoo Mail, follow these steps:
Go to the Settings Menu on the right-hand side, below Home icon.
Choose “More settings”.
Go to “Filters“. Click “Add new filters“.
- Filter name: JustRace
- Set rules: Select “From” and “contains” then enter email “email@example.com” in the field below.
- Choose a folder to move to: Choose “Inbox“
- Finally, click “Save“
Re-apply steps 3 & 4 to email firstname.lastname@example.org
So you have created filters to make sure emails from JustRace always land in primary box.
